What is home care?

Non-medical home care, also called companion care or personal assistance, covers the support services that help a senior or someone with limited autonomy live at home with comfort and safety.

Unlike medical care (nursing, therapies), non-medical care covers help with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, companionship, household management, and emotional support.

This care is provided by trained and vetted caregivers who build a trusting relationship with the client and their family.
