Deodate Compassion Home Care LLC maintains policies and procedures for supportive home care that promote independence, dignity, safety, choice, and quality of life.

Client Rights

Every client has the right to:

  • Be treated with dignity and respect
  • Receive services free from discrimination
  • Participate in decisions regarding their care
  • Have their privacy respected
  • Receive information about their services
  • Know who is providing services
  • Voice complaints without retaliation
  • Participate in service planning
  • Be free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Exercise personal choice within applicable program requirements

Person-Centered Care

Services are based on the client’s individual needs, preferences, abilities, and authorized service plan. Caregivers shall not impose personal preferences on clients and shall encourage independence whenever it is safe to do so.

Service Delivery

Depending on authorization and program requirements, supportive home care may include assistance with activities of daily living, personal support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping assistance, errands, companionship, community participation, and other authorized supportive services.

Complaints & Grievances

Clients may complain about services without retaliation. We receive complaints respectfully, document them, investigate appropriately, take corrective action when needed, and cooperate with MCO grievance and appeal processes.

Quality Assurance

We maintain a quality-assurance program to identify problems and improve services, including monitoring of complaints, missed visits, documentation, incidents, training completion, client satisfaction, and billing accuracy.
